Quality of image was really good. I will admit though that w/ shooting from a phone I was expecting a lot more cuts and actually looking forward to it for some reason. Can't normally stand brief clips, but maybe it's the idea of brief clips strung together?
I like the way you're always messing around with the camera--it's a nice visual metaphor for filmmaking. (Even if you didn't mean it that way...) The frustration and the spur of the moment nature also seems to fit with your overall concerns. The fact that you never clarify why you're stringing up the JVC is also nice.
I agree with the above posts. Your idea of stringing up a camera and letting it swing around is interesting. Normally excessively wobbly camera work makes me nauseous, but not in this case; it felt more like I was floating. And I like that you don't clarify why you're rigging up the camera like that. Very cool.
